My name is Tricia and I'm the top dog running the English-Speakers Facebook group as well as the content manager of this site. 

 

When I got to Nice in 2016, I spent a good year trying to orientate myself and ended up struggling financially, purposeless and friendless in a city where I didn't speak the language.

My aim and drive for this network is to try and help as many English-speakers not end up like past Tricia. There were so many things I wish someone had told me to expect here and I'd like to start to accumulate all the necessary information you'll need to make your life a little easier here even if you don't speak French.

Beyond this site, please feel free to reach out to the community if you feel isolated and need a friendly face. I'll be more than happy to introduce you to many good people in the area and activities that this region has to offer. If this site helps even one person in this area, it would have already been worth the sweat and tears poured into these projects.
